Krik.

You have spent your whole life watching stories that were not made for you. Stories that borrowed your culture, your music, your food, your face. They gave you nothing back but a reflection you did not recognize.

You watched anyway. Because there was nothing else. Because sometimes a glimpse was enough. Because you learned early how to find yourself in the margins of someone else's story and call it representation.

That ends here.

We have watched ourselves through other people's eyes for long enough. This is where we look directly at each other.

KrikKrak.tv is being built on a simple belief: Caribbean and African diaspora culture is not a just niche. It is not just a demographic. It is not just content. It is a World. And that world deserves a home that was built for it. With the same cinematic standard, the same curatorial care, and the same depth of love that the culture itself carries.

The name comes from the oldest call and response in Haitian storytelling. The griot speaks into the dark. The community answers. No story exists without both. That is what we are building. Not just a platform. A conversation that has been waiting centuries to have a permanent address.

KrikKrak.tv is being built by a Haitian-rooted third culture creative and storyteller who has spent years asking why there was no home for the stories she needed to see. The answer, it turns out, is that no one had built it yet.

So we are building it now. And we are asking the people who have been waiting the longest to come inside first.
